DeckSpec runs in the browser. Files stay under your control.

The editor may keep a recovery copy on your machine as a convenience so a refresh does not throw work away. That recovery copy is not the source of truth and is not a hosted document. Import and export are explicit.

Alpha does not require an account and does not provide cloud storage or collaboration. Those remain later work, with no date attached.
